What we aim for

We build this site to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard most widely used to judge whether a website is accessible. That is a target we design against from the start, not something we bolt on afterwards.

What that means in practice

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible. We never remove it.
  • Every page has one main landmark and a skip link, so you can jump straight past the navigation.
  • Headings run in order, and sections that look like headings to the eye are real headings in the markup.
  • Text meets the contrast minimums. Animated and decorative elements are hidden from screen readers so they do not clutter what you hear.
  • Every animation has a reduced-motion version. If your system asks for less motion, the site respects it.
  • Buttons and links are large enough to hit comfortably on a phone.
  • Images and icons carry text alternatives, or are marked decorative.

How we test

We run automated checks with axe against WCAG 2.2 AA on every page, at both desktop and phone sizes, and we re-run them after any structural change. Automated tools only catch part of the picture, so we also test by keyboard and with reduced motion turned on. As of the date below, those checks pass with no outstanding violations.

Where we know we fall short

Automated testing cannot prove a site is accessible, and we are a small team without a formal external audit or regular testing across every screen reader and browser combination. Parts of the site lean on scroll and motion, and although each has a reduced-motion fallback, we would rather hear from you than assume it works. We do not claim WCAG Level AAA.

Tell us if something does not work

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know, and we will fix it. Email support@rapled.com with the page and what happened, and we will reply within a few business days. If you need something on the site in another format, ask and we will send it.
